Originally from Bellingham, WA, Emily Reppun studied horn at Roosevelt University under the instruction of Dale Clevenger and Alice Render.

She has recently performed as a substitute with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, San Diego Symphony, Pacific Symphony, and Pageant of the Masters, and as acting principal with the Monterey Symphony, Fresno Philharmonic, Redlands Symphony, Hollywood Chamber Orchestra, and Riverside Symphony. She appeared in several solo horn appearances with Seth MacFarlane in 2017, for "The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses" at Comic-Con in 2015 and 2016, with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and John Williams for the opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and with Mannheim Steamroller, Long Beach Opera, the McCallum Theatre Concert Band and West Coast Music. She has appeared on national television on “The Voice” and with Rihanna, Kanye West, Rickey Minor and Christina Aguilera.  Emily holds regular positions with the Golden State Pops Orchestra and Long Beach Municipal Band.

Emily performs on a 1976 S.W. Lewis horn and a 1966 Conn 8D H Series, as well as Wagner Tuba, mellophone, Eb alto horn, and a variety of Tibetan horns.
