Originally from Bellingham, WA, Emily Reppun received her performance degree from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University in December 2004, where she studied horn performance with Dale Clevenger & Alice Render of the Chicago Symphony.
Emily holds horn positions with the Golden State Pops Orchestra, which specializes in live performances of film scores, and with Orchestra Santa Monica. Emily also currently performs often with the Fresno Philharmonic, Long Beach Municipal Band, Riverside County Philharmonic, San Bernardino Symphony, Bruce Lofgren Jazz Orchestra and Elvis Schoenberg's Orchestre Surréal.
She has also performed with the West L.A. Symphony, American Youth Symphony, Orquesta de Baja California, Torrance Symphony, West Coast Music, Pacific Brass Ensemble, Musical Theater West, Kim Richmond Concert Jazz Orchestra, with Video Games Live at Nokia Theater, with Rickey Minor and Christina Aguilera at the Kodak Theater, and Rihanna and Kanye West at Staples Center. In 2012 she appeared twice on NBC, in the series finale of "Chuck" and on "The Voice."
Emily performs on an Atkinson Geyer AG-2000 and a 1966 Conn 8D H-Series, and also owns and doubles on Wagner tuba, mellophone, Eb alto horn and piano/keyboard.
