Bio

Since moving to Los Angeles in 2005, Emily has performed with the 
Golden State Pops Orchestra, Santa Monica Symphony, American Youth Symphony, 
San Diego Opera Ensemble, Center Stage Opera, Rio Hondo Symphony, 
Southeast Symphony, Observatory Orchestra, Vintage Brass, Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra, 
Chamber Players of Los Angeles, Santa Monica Symphony Woodwind Quintet, 
Santa Monica College Orchestra and Kim Richmond Concert Jazz Orchestra.

Throughout her musical career, Emily has had the opportunity to perform at a number 
of fine venues, including the Seattle Center Opera House, Benaroya Hall and 
St. Mark's Cathedral in Seattle, the Auditorium Theater in Chicago, and 
Walt Disney Concert Hall, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Segerstrom Hall, 
Kodak Theater and Warner Grand Theater in Southern California.

In fall 2008, she opened for Elvis Costello and Ry Cooder at the American Music Hall 
in San Francisco with Juliette Commagere.  In November 2008, 
under the direction of Ricky Minor of American Idol, she performed with 
Christina Aguilera at the globally broadcast CNN Heroes Awards at Hollywood’s Kodak Theater.

In 2007, Reppun and three fellow female horn players started the  
No Boys Aloud Horn Quartet, which regularly performs, gigs and 
does educational outreach around Los Angeles.  

Emily received her musical training from Dale Clevenger of the Chicago Symphony, 
both at the Seattle Youth Symphony's Marrowstone Music Festival in Port Townsend, WA 
and at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University.
